This course undertakes a rigorous study of the spread of terrorism in its various forms on the human landscape. The course also examines the implications of terrorism on the immediate societies in which it has taken form and for the world at large. Some areas of focus include the induction of children in terrorist activities, terrorism in the name of religion, terrorism and aviation safety, and oppression and resistance. A segment of the course focuses on counter‐terrorism.
